What to expect during a Botox/Xeomin treatment
Your provider will review and mark the areas to be treated. The number of areas and amount of product needed will be determined by the desired result. The areas to be injected will be cleaned. You may feel a slight pinch from the needle itself. You will be bale to continue your day as you normally would after treatment.
Aftercare and possible side effects
Keep your hands off your face for at least three hours after the injections. Avoid lying down or any vigorous activity for at least 4-6 hours after treatment to keep the product where it is supposed to go and not to have it move elsewhere.
The most common possible side effects are eyelid ptosis, dry eyes, injection site pain, muscle weakness.
Results will be see between 3-7 days with full effects taking up to 14 days. Botox and Xeomin generally last for two to three months.

After Care for dermal fillers
Bruising and swelling in the injection area are to be expected. Ice the area 20 minutes on and 20 minutes off.
Do not touch the dermal filler. Touching your face or the injected area can cause the product to shift from where it is intended to be and alter your
results.
Dermal fillers are gradually absorbed by the body. Typically they last between 9 and 12 months; however, this depends of the individuals body and how quickly the product is absorbed.
Possible side effects to dermal fillers
1. The most common side effects include:
- bruising
- redness
- swelling
- pain
- itching
2. Additional side effects less commonly reported include:
- infections
- lumps and bumps
- discoloration or change in pigmentation
3. Rare but serious risks include:
- scarring, blurred vision, partial vision loss, and blindness if the dermal filler is inadvertently injected into a blood vessel. It is recommended that health care providers take care to avoid injection into blood vessels (especially around the forehead, nose and eye area) for these reasons.
